In this post I will talk about the situation in the development of the game, if you want to read the improvements so far, I recommend that you read the post after this, where I will talk much more in depth about the improvements in the gameplay.

Hey guys, it’s me again, bringing recent news about the status of just pong and the next update, plus some miscellaneous news from my other games.

I have finished the period of exams and I am free at the end of my studies, therefore, except for my social life and tasks, I can dedicate a large part of my time to Just Pong, this fact has allowed me to advance considerably in the game and that is why I am working to finalize the update with a flourish, finishing entering details, correcting bugs and finishing adding content and secrets.

I have made great progress in the game but there are still problems to solve, one of these problems is the optimization of the game, the game is made in JavaScript and since I have been developing it for so long, throughout this time I have been learning new techniques to shorten and improve my code, this has caused the code that I have previously created to be (from my point of view) obsolete, I am going to change the code from scratch and optimize the game better NO. I don’t want to have to redo Just Pong from scratch, like I did previously, so I’ll be updating little by little the old code to optimize the game, I’ll also remove unused objects and sprites and more….

Quite possibly, the next update will come out next week or the week after the next one, therefore, if it doesn’t come out in the middle of the month it will come out almost at the end, since I also want to update the gamejolt page and post sneak peeks and others in youtube so stay tuned!

Soon I will write another post in which I talk about the game improvements, this post was just to inform about the state of the game nothing more.
